Bush Forever Conservation Area

An endemic slice of heaven... Sadly affected by phytophthora dieback.Please keep to the tracks, avoid wet soil conditions, and clean your shoes to help prevent the spread of dieback. You can use a brush and 70% methylated spirits solution in a spray bottle to clean your shoes, or put them in a plastic bag and clean with detergent and water when you get home.You won't be disappointed by staying on the track: There is a great diversity of native plant and insect life in this reserve, not to mention the birds, lizards, and who knows what else has escaped my own gaze... Potter wasps, blue-banded bees, butterflies, leaf-curling spiders, honeyeaters, just to name a few of the lovely creatures I've been privileged to see, are likely to swing past or be waiting in the undergrowth right before your eyes...

What a fantastic hidden spot.I've had this on my list for ages, but was concerned it would be a rubbish dump,It does have a lot of rubbish, but it's not too bad.There are heaps of different plants here, spotted a couple of bunny orchids, and there are hundreds of Greenhood orchids.This place will be amazing in wildflower season.Can't wait to come back.

This place is so lovey the dogs love coming here, it's about a 4 km walk.

A place planned as bush forever within the region. Had this a little exploration walk on a sunny day. Sandy track makes it very hard to walk sometimes. Enviro is unique and expect no infrastructure inside the area. There is this drainage area in the middle of the area, which is strange lol and no official access to the bike lane north of the Reid Highway, yet there is a hidden opening on the fence making it quite convenient actually. The location is quite good; hope the community could make a good use of this place.

Beware of snakes in this area, I was recently bitten by a snake! But this place is pretty nice
